Guest guest
I wanted to add (OT) to the message below, because I am not convinced that this is actually good news. So what if Monsanto is selling off the bovine growth hormone to Eli Lilly! Will this mean more misery for other folks in other countries, that previously were not interested in Posilac? I can't imagine Eli Lilly buying up the rights to this, and then not doing anything with it. They must have some plans in the works/pipeline for Prosilac. I wonder what these plans may be, Aasa Subject: monsantoTo: EOHarm Received: Monday, September 1, 2008, 1:45 AM Dear EOHarm,Aasa has sent you a link to this page over at Greenpeace:http://www.greenpea ce.org/canada/ en/recent/ monsanto
Guest guest
I apologize for the typo I made above. Prosilac should read Posilac: http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/080820/aqw055.html?.v=64 Aasa From: penas7arrogers (DOT) com <penas7arrogers (DOT) com>Subject: monsantoTo: EOHarmyahoogroups (DOT) comReceived: Monday, September 1, 2008, 1:45 AM Dear EOHarm,Aasa has sent you a link to this page over at Greenpeace:http://www.greenpea ce.org/canada/ en/recent/ monsanto
Guest guest
Yea, what a relief. NOT! They'll sell it to other countries who will then sell it back to us. Guest guest
Quote: Elanco, a division of Eli Lilly and Company (NYSE:LLY), today announced that Lilly has signed an agreement to acquire the worldwide rights to the dairy cow supplement, Posilac® (sometribove), as well as the product's supporting operations, from Monsanto Company (NYSE:MON). " Global dairy demand is increasing, outstripping supply, and consumers are seeing rapidly rising prices, " said Jeff , president, Elanco. " With the purchase of Posilac, Elanco can enhance its overall product portfolio and work together with the industry to provide dairy farmers more options and give consumers affordable choices. Critically, we remain focused on the health and care of the cow in working with farmers to increase global milk supply. " With our rich history and experience in the dairy industry, Elanco is the ideal steward of this vital technology, " said. " Elanco remains committed to using science to address the growing need for safe, affordable food; and to choices for consumers, retailers and producers. " http://www.organicconsumers.org/arti...icle_14218.cfm CAN YOU SAY CONFLICT OF INTEREST?!?!?!? Quote: Eli Lilly is one of the major insulin manufacturers, a drug used for diabetes (type 1 and type 2). Recombinant bovine growth hormone has been shown through studies to increase the risk of diabetes, particularly in children. So this is quite the win-win situation for Eli Lilly. Create more diabetes through the use of r-bgh in cow's milk, and then provide the drugs needed to solve the problem that you helped create. Guest guest
That's partly what I am concerned about: that Eli Lilly may find a way to market Posilac to other countries that are trying to keep away from this hormone currently. Monsanto has not been all that successful in getting the public to accept their crap, but another company may be able to market these products more successfully, even if it may be to our demise in the long run. Guest guest
These school and university shootings and the like are taking place because of the medicine (i mean trash they call medicine) these boys have to take, becasue they have thinking disorders caused mainly by the vaccines. These drugs have recently had a black box warning put on them. They should have been taken off the market, but if they did that there would be wide spread murder and suicide. And we can't have that can we? People would really start asking questions. They might even come out of their flouide induced coma.
