Guest guest Posted December 18, 2009 Report Share Posted December 18, 2009 Congress Allocates $1 Million for National CMT Resource Center The CMTA is proud to announce that the U.S. Congress has allocated $1,000,000 to launch a National CMT Resource Center in conjunction with The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Center for Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD). The funding, contained within the 2010 Federal Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies Appropriations Bill (LHHS), will support a national initiative to promote a collaborative relationship between CMT patients and their providers and to ensure people are being properly diagnosed and treated with the latest standards of care.
