Guest guest
I would suggest giving him something that relates to asthma and perfumes. I cannot believe a pulmo would have it, but then I have seen it as well and jusy had to leave since my throat swells. I cannot be there at all.   Pulmo offices with carpeting, with mold, with anything but the right instruments. I cannot even get my 02 saturation done right because no one has an ear meter, so they are satisfied with false readings.  Maybe since he is being nice he may listen. God Bless !! dragonflymcs Mayleen ________________________________ From: sparksella <sparksella@...> I had an appointment today with my pulmonologist. Their building has been relatively safe for me until today. The waiting area has an air freshener in it. I checked in, asked about it, The girl innocently said she didn't know anything about it, and I told her I would be outside. They called me in, and of course I had to go through the lobby again. One reaction to AF's is a need to go. After she did the initial intake, I went to the bathroom--AIR FRESHENER in that small space. I complained about it, and the doc said no one else has complained. And indicated he saw nothing wrong with them. I guess I'll be printing out website urls and info for the next time I go. All suggestions welcome. On the other hand, he is writing a letter of support for me for using cardio machines. Ella

Guest guest
No. I'm in Tucson, AZ. When I first started going to them years ago, they were in a new building, complete with whole office heavy fragrances and scented candles. I complained, and a lot of other people must have too, because they removed the candles and pot pourri, and the heavy air fresheners were gone. But, there were lighter ones in individual rooms. I had to take a breathing test in a room that was no more than 10 x10, with a high ceiling. I knew there was an AF in there, but couldn't see it until just before I left. I complained to teh doc (a different one) and he immediately went in, had a ladder brought in, and had it removed immediately. The place has been okay since then with the minor problems of OP's perfumes. Until yesterday, and the new air fresheners... Ella > > If it's the ass, Jim Chirstiansen here inVegas don't bother. Guest guest
Hi, If you suffer from infalmation in your hands the finger oxymeters will give you false reading on your fingers. In which case to get an accurate reading you need one that is placed on your ear which will give you a good reading. Apparently pulmo offices do not know this. None I have seen anyway. http://www.amperordirect.com/pc/c-oximeter-probe/choice-oximeter-sensor-m50d02cs\ o.html http://www.shop.com/Medline_Handheld_Ear_Probe_Pulse_Oximeter-226707748-26296391\ 6-p+.xhtml?sourceid=298 http://www.medexsupply.com/products/pid-1759/BCIEarSensorClipforBCI3301Oxim.htm   Even when I explained the problem the nurses at the Dr's do not care and continue to record false readings. Good thing when I needed 02 my EI then did listen and ordered testing, then I had to search for a company that had an ear tester. Within 2 minutesthe six minute test was over cause I dropped so low. Good thing I read. Guest guest
I don't remember an ear meter either. I had the oxymeter (finger pulse/ox), a computer test for lung capacity using the gadget you blow into, and an arterial blood test.
