Guest guest
I don't know how Obama stands on forced vaccinations; but you can't count on any of these people. Most of them have sold us out to the medical industry. I haven't checked out McCain, but Lieberman is known for being one of the top receivers of medical contributions. I'm sure they know how to keep it all in the family. I'll take my chances on Obama. Bob Catalano www.medicine-no.com Re: OT: What's this about Obama saying he doesn't support vax choice? Sad, really sad. Hope there's a huge press backlash to his statement that shakes things up. Guest guest
Without saying how I would vote in the Presidential election - the choice is becoming more problematic each day - I feel obligated to point out that on the vaccine safety issue Senator Lieberman has been our greatest and most outspoken champion in the Senate. It was his action that resulted in the NIEHS report on the flaws in the VSD and its handling. He joined with McCain in a letter calling for Senate hearings on the issue.I am a lifelong Democrat and I am appalled at the way the Bush administration has handled many things, most relevant here is their stonewalling or worse on vaccine safety issues, vaccine injury compensation and more generally, issues involving IDEA. But, I cannot say at this point in time that Obama - who receives substantial funds from pharma - is superior on the issues affecting our children than McCain. Of course, with McCain you may get the Bush Republican power structure - the picture has become extremely complicated.I say this as a lifelong Democrat who has worked on and contributed to many campaigns going back 40 years to the days when Allard Lowenstein was my Congressman and I went door to door for him as a high school student. My mind is truly open at this point in time. (By the way, Palin is thus far a non-factor in my personal calculus - she is a complete unknown and her positions are unarticulated and her track record unformed - I am looking at McCain only.)I don't know how Obama stands on forced vaccinations; but you can't count on any of these people. Most of them have sold us out to the medical industry.I haven't checked out McCain, but Lieberman is known for being one of the top receivers of medical contributions.I'm sure they know how to keep it all in the family.
