Guest guest
See, the CDC cares about autism after all -- at least if it comes nowhere near the issue of dirty vaccines. - Lenny Willowbrook Institute Gets Large Grant From CDC By NY1 News. http://tinyurl.com/5msouk The Institute for Basic Research in Willowbrook has received a large grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The $1.6 million grant will be used to conduct research on Fragile X Syndrome over the next three years. People with Fragile X Syndrome have a single mutation in the Fragile X gene, which is located on the X chromosome. The mutation, which is usually inherited from the mother, causes moderate to severe mental retardation. " This disease is, in some ways, a model for understanding Autism, as well, " said Dr. Ted Brown of IBR. " Which is quite a bit more common than Fragile X. " Nearly 4,000 males in New York State have Fragile X Syndrome. IBR also hopes to work more closely with the 13 other clinics throughout the country that also study the syndrome.
