Guest guest
Yes. This will affect us all greatly. Something else that has popped up recently in MI is there has been a mental health parity bill up now for close to three years. I heard yesterday that there was consideration by some groups to have a " carve out " of services for people with ASD. Not a good thing. It's being done because of the high costs factors and folks wanting ABA as the BPS. So with the effort to try to pass legislation for specific ASD coverage, it may have backfired unfortunately. If this happens in MI it will be devastating to many children and adult who now, because of the nature of the system of delivery, are receiving services under MI codes and via the Community Mental Health system. Not a good thing.
