Guest guest
This is the real world. The placental barrier is permeable to a variety of chemicals, including mycotoxins. Animal studies have shown that mycotoxins cross the placental barrier and enter the fetus causing birth defects. The question is what about humans? In Africa where aflatoxins are high in the diet children have developed neurological learning deficts. Read below about a family of five. I have been involved with a family of five. They all have serious sinusitis involving all sinuses with thickening of the ethmoid sinuses. The Father, wife and two children have ochratoxins in nasal secretions and urine (Hooper's testing at RealTime Laboratories). Their pet dog also is ill with the same findings. Aspergillus ochraceus was isolated in their enviornment. The wife was pregnant during the exposure period. She gave birth to what appears as a healthy girl of normal birthweight. However, testing of the placenta and the umbilical cord detected ochratoxin. Autistic spectrum disorders do not show up until age 2 or slightly older. The question is what will the neurological condition of this newborn be when she reaches age 2?
