If you presume them small minded and stupid, yes. If you presume the majority of them are relatively open minded and intelligent, no. I try for the optimistic side -- which even a few years of public service did not kill -- and in my experience there has never been a service cut simply because of the silly opinion of a buffoon, there's generally a lot more to it than that. Thanks! I was just seeking some info for another parent in my home State that is pursuing this. My concern is that some parents who like him will disregard the dx and think all they have to do is punish them and and they will be fixed. 99% misdiagnosed or fraud cases is a BIG number to throw around.
