Guest guest
The only test i could get for my daughter was a blood test for 4 types of aflatoxins and the results are all <0.2 (i guess this means negative). Should i just relax and assume she is fine? Long story short: she was adopted from Africa from an area where kids were found highly infected with aflatoxins and ochratoxins. She has all the symptoms there, from astma to neurological sypmtoms, to growth problems, to bedwetting even at almost 7 years of age (ochratoxins seem to affect the urinary system), to even precocious puberty (another of the mycotoxins family were found responsible for precocious puberty according to some researchers). It could be that all these have other causes as well, but shall i just assume this???? We live in Middle East, no labs doing these kind of tests here, no toxicologists who have a clue about mycotoxins .... i really don't know if i should just relax and be happy or try to research more. Can she still be infected with other types of mycotoxins, judging by her symptoms? Can it be that the Aflatoxins are hidden somewhere in her body after almost 2 years of 'clean life'? Sorry to come back with some of the same questions (i posted about this a while ago), but i still couldn't find out answers that would allow me to finally sleep tight in the night.
