Guest guest
We have some mold under our kitchen sink from a plumbing leak we didn't notice right away. The wood needs to be removed. Our handyman will try to avoid sawing through the mold but some of it is unavoidable. Has anyone used some kind of fixative or spray to limit the amount of mold that gets airborne in this situation? Should we try to wipe it down with a biocide first? There's a small area where the plywood is coming up in layers and there's fuzzy mold. This is where I'm really concerned about containing the mold spores--it's not a smooth surface to wipe down. We will block off the work area with plastic and sanitize it after the work is done.
