Hi everyone,

I just wanted to email the list, in case anyone is being seen under the

neuromuscular clinics at the National Hospital for Neurology and

Neurosurgery in London, England.

Dr Reilly and her team are some of the most renowned researchers in

CMT.

The team just recently received funding for a physiotherapy trial on hip

flexors and the way in which their strength / weakness impacts gait in CMT

patients.

The commitment is 10 months, and entails 4 visits to the clinic and a

monthly home visit by the physio team to assess / re-assign exercises. The

minimum capability is 50m walking, and you cannot be pregnant nor have had

childhood hip dislocations / dysplasia.

I am really excited to be participating. It is one of the reasons I

insisted on a consultant referral to the National. And as I am a mild CMT

patient very into fitness and health and nutrition, I am super curious to

see what they do / how it impacts me.

Will keep you all posted,

Donna from London
