Guest guest
So I have seen " mega-claves " mentioned in a couple articles on CMT but it really dosen't explain why they occur, perhaps they don't know why. Is it like foot deformities in that some people aren't affected, that their calves aren't atrophied? Or is it that maybe the calves are over used and big from compensating for other weakened muscles? My cousin recently saw a new neurologist and they questioned her diagnosis because she has very large strong leg muscles. There are 6 people in my family who are diagnosed with CMT and of course it affects all of us differently, no two alike. Some have really scrawney legs and some large and some in the middle.
