Guest guest
A warm welcome to you, Francesca. CMT affects us all differently. I too have always walked on my own (I am 57 now) and still walking. (childhood diagnosis) I've had all the tests except for the DNA. My EMG showed reinnervation, which is a type of CMT 2. At this point I don't know my sub-type. I have always been active, ballet until age 12, swimming, biking, horsebackriding, aerobics, some yoga, ski conditioning, pilates, now my regular workout is an Aquatics circuit 3-4 days a week. I do not have drop foot. My balance is good and other than the usual being tired at night (like the rest of the world) I do not have overwhelming daytime fatigue.
