Guest guest
Hi Beata You are so right. I was talking about this the other day as I'm getting to the stage where I need a walker and quite possibly a wheelchair as my " good " days on my feet are becoming fewer and fewer. I don't care what other people who are strangers think but I do have a vested interested in what my colleagues think because I need them to see me as a capable competent individual not a disabled person (and as we all know people, even the educated ones, have so many prejudices) But so many of the aids are sooo ugly and they're expensive to add to it. I guess there's no financial mileage in making things look good when the manufacturer has a restricted and captive customer base:-( Along with the rest of me my ego may be bruised and fragile but its still standing! Guest guest
Fiona- What you think you will hate and dread using, you will learn to love. I know. I've been there. Lyn
