Gammux is used in CIDP, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelating Polyneuropathy. That disorder is entirely different than CMT and will not help CMT, but will only waste your money or your insurance company's money, not to mention your time. It is a type of IVIG. http://www.talecris .com/Landmark- Study-Demonstrat es-Gamunex- Improves- Health-Related- Quality-of- Life.htm To date, there is NO treatment for CMT. However, research is constantly breaking new ground. Some people with CMT 1A have had good results with Vitamin C (although theraputics are still in trials) You may also want to look at Citicoline and Curcumin as well as Vitamin E (which I take). There are many more of us taking different anti-oxidants as well. Search through our archived posts on 'supplements' or 'vitamins' or 'anti-oxidants' or 'IVIG' also look in our Files section in the Supplements folder. You'll find a short list of recommendations by CMT expert Dr. Greg . Gretchen
