Guest guest
Dear Parents:I am not a supporter of McCain / Palin but... Palin's wonderful speech today is a political landmark for all of us who are parents of children with disabilities.Maybe the Republicans are pandering, but so what (all politics is pandering)The gauntlet has been thrown down Obama / Biden (who have a well articulated policy on these issues)need to stand up and speak out on these issues. Now is the time for Obama to speak up for children with disabilities (and he has done so in the past), just as Palin did today. The Power of Parents and all our efforts has been shown today, by a parent, whatever her political affiliation.Thank you Palin for speaking words that need to be spoken. Now, let's escalate the issue and make the policy positions articulated today by Palin become reality, whatever party is in power. We have no party - we are the Autism Party, the Children's PartyBob Krakow
