Today Show about Dr. Offit

Did anyone catch the Today Show where Dr. Snyderman was discussing Dr.

(Pr)Offit? Gag.

She was playing up the " death threats " that (Pr)Offit receives and how she

herself has been

" physically " assaulted by angry parents, etc. Then... on to the idea that

pediatricians go into

the field because they love children and want to protect them blah, blah, blah.

(Well yes...

but they aren't protecting *ALL* of them). Of course, none of us should worry

that Dr.

(Pr)Offit has ties with Big Pharma, there's no issue with that at all - at least

according to

(Pr)Offit and Snyderman.

The most telling part of the interview was at the very end (after the taped

piece) where it was

Matt Lauer talking with Snyderman. He said something similar to.... " this is a

controversial

topic " and Snyderman pipes up with (again paraphrasing).... " No, it isn't

controversial at all.

The science is solid. There is no connection " Again, Matt said something

like... " Well, there is

controversy because blah, blah, blah " . Snydie: " No controversy " . Sick and

twisted. Watch
