Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I am in the midst of a struggle to get environmental accommodations at a university (they have approved academic accommodations), which translates to showing them that my chemical sensitivity, etc. affects me in a " major life activity " (they don't seem to understand my problem since they have a doc there who thinks I can just take an inhaler and be fine) and how my test results come into play in this ordeal as well as the fact that they are valid even after 2-3 years. I have had Dr. Marinkovich's blood test that showed high positive levels of many mold antibodies, 9 abnormalities including a small chemical test in Dr. Kilburn's neurological testing, Hashimoto's Thyoiditis through blood tests and a biopsy, and a comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation that resulted in a reading disorder as well as memory. I have mycotoxicosis, reactive airways disease, chemical sensitivity/brain injury, asthma/allergies, Hashimoto's THroiditis, leaky gut, etc. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can prove my problem to them and get the accommodations I need (e.g. home study and green chemicals)? Any ideas and medical documents would be appreciated to help tie this all together. Thanks so much and best wishes. a
