That what we call people power , if the site get hit from france ,

England and the US , that attention will force the hand of the NFB

If the word out about the movie , they wont stop the release.

Secondly the right have been sold in france , this is what gave the

people on the inside a fighting chance.

But for the a north american release , we need to give a nice little

push.

By the way some body should contact your PBS network , and see if

they want to buy the right for the USA .

a friend who work with her in the beginning that she trully uncertain

about a link between autism and vaccine .

But at the end of the exercise , she was convince

when you see the movie , there is a tradition within the ONF to

produce very high quality documentary film .

Thank you Pierre - any idea when this will be released? Or has it

been already?

I did go to the site and if facebook would cooperate I'd upload the

poster.

We (I) have had zero success with NPR on any things autism, don't

expect much more from PBS as their money comes from the same polluted

pool. (meaning my $20 doesn't compare to pharmaceutical company's

thousands) We just need to get hold of the film on-line to distribute

it and decide/see from there. As for autism, MS, lupus, rheumatoid

arthritis, lyme disease, strep, alzheimers.......many connections.

Many of us know this. It would be so wonderful to be able to see

anything that backs us up. My money is on Europe to be sensible

first. I can only hope someone with power will care very soon.

The information is that french premiere will be in early december

I can only say one thing , think trekky , It is is important to

note , the star trek was cancell , but what I call people power

put pressure on NBC to re-introduce the show .the rest is history

today there is about 1 million famillies in the us with autistic

childreen ,about 250,000 know pretty well what happen .

now if 200, 1000 ,2500 ,5000 or 10,000 sent letters in to your PBS

asking for this documentary to be presented , but also asking for a

local focus group to be organise after the presenting in each PBS

inviting academic , health specilist , advocates , parents to discuss

the issues presented in the film .

turn into a 2 hour presntation , 1 hour /15 minutes for the movie and

45 minute discusion .

By the way , I do recall that you americain just elected a Black

President , if you can put a black president in the white house

you can this movie on PBS.

Not sure I understand your precise problem but getting projects

publicity can be done relatively cheap.

I would suggest following the current 'viral' video marketing

campaigns used in the Entertainment Business by many producers that

lack funding for huge advertising campaigns and wide theatrical

release - normally handled by DISTRIBUTORS.

Start with good website SEO (Search Engine Optimization)load with

autism/vaccine keywords and links to autism/vaccine sites.

The Producer should cut several enticing trailers that give compelling

pieces of the story and whet the appetite of the general public. Post

the videos to YouTube (also embed YouTube video on Vaccine movie main

website) and start the links circulating (just like you did on these

newgroups)

create at least one main summary trailer with 3 or 4 different

versions - just a minute or two - one as an overview of what the

others contain. Give enough quick facts to legitimize and simple stats

to make jaws drop. Fast paced, dramatic music usually works.

The trailers cannot give the impression this is the product of a bunch

of anti vaccine wacko's. Opinions should be avoided in the trailers.

At least one version should be English. Sounds like French is covered.

More translations would be fantastic.

Request everyone rate all the trailers, Digg It, Stumble, Buzz, Tweet

etc and forward the links and stories extensively. Send the links to

everyone you know, all media, Congress, Legislatures, etc. Repeats are

good because WHEN they hear it enough, we'll get action.

Once the snowball starts rolling, it grows and is impossible to stop.

Also, they should enter every Film Festival that will accept their

entry. They may get a distributor at a festival. Many distributors are

not PC and only want to make a buck...few making money right now.

This story is much bigger than Tobacco and Lung Cancer IMHO and should

find demand.

If SAG strikes there will be less content available for NETWORK and

CABLE TV who would then be more receptive to an idea like this.

no not exactly , the film will be cut for that presention , it will be

a short , short version !!!!

Just ask yourself , why a 9:45 presention , sadly I beleive this very

good film , never had a chance .

The national film board is a Federal agency , and we have a party that

is in power , Concervative , that are very close to big Pharma .

We can only hope that this is not its first and last presentation by

january we should know .
