THIS IS TERRIBLE, I HAVE TWO BOYS WITH MILD AUTISM- AGES 6 AND 8. NOW

I HAVE AN 8 MONTHS OLD BABY GIRL. I DIDNT KNOW IF I SHOULD VACCINATE

HER OR NOT, BUT I FELT GUILT WHEN I THOUGHT THAT IF MY BABY GETS A

DISEASE I COULDNT FORGIVE MYSELF. JUST LAST SATURDAY I TOOK HER TO

GET HER SHOTS, WHICH SHE WAS ALREADY A LITTLE BEHIND ON HER

SCHEDULE. NOW I FEEL GUILTY BECAUSE SHE GOT A FLU SHOT, AND I HAVE

TO TAKE HER IN A MONTH FOR HER SECOND ONE. I AM SO DESPERATE, I DONT

KNOW WHAT TO DO. I DONT WANT MY BABY GIRL TO GO THRU THE SAME THING

THAT MY TWO BOYS ARE.

The first thing you need to do is just calm yourself down. STOP

buying into the fear factor. Do not continue with the flu vacccines.

The only way you can do this comfortably is to take some time and

research. With two chidlren who are already on the spectrum you

cannot afford too make these decisions feeling like you have a gun to

your head. They recommended the flu vaccine to infants and children

because they felt they were carriers and could spread it to to the so

called vulnerable populations like the elderly who do not die from

the flu but die from complications of the flu This same population

are at risk from dying from complications of a cold.

Take a deep breath. I too vaccinated my then eight month old daughter and never took her back to get the second shot. She did get the flu anyway, and was fine. I have two boys as well-one on the spectrum. They both got the flu as well and had their shots.

That was six years ago and I have never gotten my children the flu shots again. I felt so pressured by the pediatrician at that time, and fear flew all over me. Cancel your well baby visit. Take a year or two off from your ped

and collect yourself. Right now it is important to boost your baby's

immune system. At 8 months she can easily take 1/2 tsp Cod Liver Oil

and probiotics everyday. I would also see a homopath and see if you

can detox those shots. I would also delay solid food to 18 months

and keep your baby sugar free. My never vaccinated baby has NEVER

had a sick visit.
