Guest guest
My son got cold sores when I started serious yeast tx, mb12 and chelation. I think it was virus kicked up, not sure. I put a little straight vit E oil on the spot couple of times a day for a few days and they were gone.I think vit E has soy, so don't know if that is ok for you? I would double probiotic for all of you guys and fill that empty gut with good bugs!Alison M -------------- Original message ---------------------- > So we have been an infirmary in our house, first almost 2 weeks with > a nasty nasty stomach bug...some fevers here and there without > any 'real' symptoms for Ethan, then this last week, we have all had a > nasty head cold/cough...low fevers... > > > Now, for the first time ever, Ethan has 2 icky cold sores on his lips > (he had high herpes titers when tested earlier this year), and he > appears to be over the worst of the cold, onto just plain runny nose > really....so I was wondering if the appearance of the cold sores are > a 'good' sign???That things are leaving his body? > > Ideas? Guest guest
If you crush up Lysine - add a little coconut oil and make it into a paste to dab on the cold sores - will help them clear up. Like do this around bedtime. They are only spread if you touch them and then touch your face, eyes, lips. So wash your hands well. Coconut oil has antiviral, antifungal properties - and its a great for moisturizing. You could offer your son by putting it on toast, hot cereals. My son eats it right from the spoon. Coconut oil can be found in healthfood stores. Guest guest
Olive Leaf Extract kills the virus that causes herpes in the body. It also kills Guillan Barre, and shingles virus....get a bottle of organic liquid and follow directions on bottle for a month or so... > > So we have been an infirmary in our house, first almost 2 weeks with > a nasty nasty stomach bug...some fevers here and there without > any 'real' symptoms for Ethan, then this last week, we have all had a > nasty head cold/cough...low fevers... > > Ideas?
