I would say that it takes a probably-a-little-toxic-herself mom to defend inactions of those like her (I don't want to recover my child types - God put him on the earth this way, I believe is their mantra).I am into this recovery thing to the tune of a refinance this year, just upward of $100K and almost eight years invested in creating/recovering a child from fecal-smearing, head-banging, sitting in a corner by himself, pacing the house screaming and crying.
