Guest guest
They commented that the plague ended from sanitation and vaccines. Umm.. UUGH! Talk about 'revisionist history'. I wonder - is this just an isolated mistake in one history book? When was the book written? BTW, have your read W. Loewen's wonderful books "Lies My Teacher Told Me" and "Lies Across America"? In the first, he points out all sorts of inconsistencies and utter falsehoods in history books. The second book delves into "monuments" all across America, to nonexistent people in some cases, or which have other stretching of the truth, outright falsehoods, or distortions.. It's been a long time since I've read them, so my memory is foggy - time to re-read them I guess :)Jim
