The military seems to list autism as an adverse event associated

Has anyone see this before?

- about 2 years ago there was local news out of the Hampton Roads/Virginia Beach/Norfolk/Cheseapeake area about several military kids being identified as autistic.

The article above is not the one that I was thinking but this is current.

DK,

I haven't seen this before. It makes me sick. I'm sure you've heard lot of

stories about vaccine reactions. Here's another one to add to the list.

When

my daughter was last vaccinated she had a stroke, was in a coma for 27 hrs.

& had seizures. She started having some digestive issues & such when

she was 3 months old along with the start of ear infx., over 40 of them to be

exact before her 3rd birthday. I put her in the crib when she callapsed calling

the ped lots of times to let him know of the fever, lethargy & collapse. He

said sometimes kid get really tired & that her immune system was stimulated

& to just let her sleep it off. Her immune sytem was overactivated &

crashed. I took her to the ER when she as convulsing & it

stopped around the same time we got there. When she woke from the coma,

she couldn't look at me anymore, her eyes were glassy & pupils dialated.

She couldn't eat, go potty, or even stand up by herself anymore. She hung to

one side & drooled excessively. This was a drastic change from the

norm. She would push her chin hard into people after that & still

does. She was diagnosed with having autism approximately 1yr. later. She has

come a long way. Her ATEC score was 122 in Feb. 2005 & no it's 20. On

days she has a virus, she regresses into severe autism even though

she is high functioning. I have learned to read specific symptoms

from going back & forth all winter, I can help her with them

nutritionally. Unfortunately, it's not enough. I hate medicine but she is

currently taking 2. Singualir & amantadine. Even with the amantadine, she

gets bad colds. I quit school to take care of her over 7 yrs. ago. I was

going to be a nurse. I vowed I would never give a person a vaccine or

meds. I have been looking forward to her progress so I can go back to work

& /or school for something else. Is there any way to get the toxins from the

DTaP out?

I wonder WHEN this info. was posted. If I knew of these side effects before I vaccinated her, I wouldn't have at all. She has even done not so well with homeopathy in the past but I am going to try again with a better trained homeopath.

They also listed autism as a " neurological disease " -- as opposed to a

developmental disorder? I suppose the two labels aren't mutually

exclusive.
