Guest guest
Wonder if any of you have had this problem. My dog has been just as sick as me for the past eight years. Currently he is recovering from Pancreatitis. He has an ongoing problem with bacteria in his gut and has been treated with multiple antibiotics. Two shots of cortisol created a Candida overgrowth. He smells of yeast, even the vet can smell it. If he gets too close to me I have very severe reactions. I can keep him at a distance, but I can still smell the yeast in the air at times and am worried about how to rid my previously healthy home of any candida or micotoxins coming off of him. I finally got the Vet to put him on Fluconazole since I'm so worried about my own health. The big worry is his liver. He's already refusing food. We're also using grapeseed extract and garlic. As for me, I'm using everything at my disposal: Diflucan and ampho B nasal spray. I'm putting a drop of the ampho B in my nebulizer (along with B12). CSM, even one teaspoon creates acid reflux for me later in the day so I can only use in sparingly and not every day. Would spraying him with a dilution of grapeseed extract help? Or is that a myth? The fluconzole shampoo we found has fragrance in it so we can't use that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Anne
