It’s believed 36-year-old Blackmon was last seenworking at Partners In Opportunities, 1657 Commerce Drive, near theSouth Bend Regional Airport, about 2:50 p.m. Wednesday.a Green, who works at Partners in Opportunities, said Blackmonwas supposed to get a ride home but apparently walked away fromthe building about 2:50 p.m.Blackmonis black, 5-foot-8l, weighs 195 pounds and was last seen wearing a redT-shirt, blue jeans and a blue winter jacket with an orange hood andliner.Green said Blackmon, who is also mildly retarded,is fairly independent and has been known to walk all over the city â€" asfar north as the airport and as south as Ireland Road.Although he lives near downtown, Green said Blackmon likes to visitvideo and gaming stores and fast-food restaurants."He really likes Game Stop and he may go into a Hollywood Videostore if he sees one," Green said.Greensaid Blackmon doesn’t have a history of wandering away, and it’s notknown what, if anything, motivated his disappearance Wednesday.Amissing person’s report has been filed for Blackmon, and anyone whospots him is asked to call the South Bend police Cpl.
