Guest guest
Here are some answers to your questions, Starr!!! 1. You can actually make bath poufs at home. If you don't want to take the time, you can always check out Wal-Mart! Here are the directions: Bath Scrubbies -1 yard bridal illusion netting (pick up at fabric store) -1 yard satin ribbon or soft cord Lay out all the fabric on a flat surface. Fold is four times lengthwise. Start folding the fabric in half, bringing the two ends together. Fold in half again and again until you have a near square of fabric about 8 inches long. Take the ribbon and tie it tightly around the middle of the fabric square and secure it with a knot. Take the two ends of the ribbon and tie them into another knot one inch from the end. Fan out the folds of fabric until your scrubbie is full. Enjoy! 2. Glycerin is a natural by-product of soapmaking. Commercially made soap manufacturers (Ivory, Irish Spring, etc.) take out the glycerin and sell it in liquid form. However, handmade soaps retain their natural glycerin, make them much more moisturizing. You can buy glycerin from your local pharmacy or drug store. You can also add a little bit of emu oil or aloe vera gel/oil to your bath salts, to make it really moisturizing. I like adding emu oil to my bath salts. Hope this helps! Guest guest
I just love this! I can just see you wearing that shirt. Somewhere deep inside you must know how special you are..that is why you picked that shirt. It is when we aknowledge who we really are that all of our dreams begin to come true. Remember that you are after all the greatest gift you have ever been give. Love yourself and watch the magic happen. Let the sweet star you are shine on all of us and make our lives a little brighter. You know I think you are one of the brightest and prettiest stars in the whole universe. Rashelle From: tw1853@... I was walking at lunch and realized that the shirt I'm wearing has a big star on the front of it. It's the only thing I think I have that has a star. And here you go talking about my being a star. How funny! LOL Smiles, Darlene
Guest guest
> I didnt know she was doing this. I am surprised. Even though for years she's been saying she's proud of her weight, it appears the powers that be, namely Barbara Walters and the producers, claim her weight is now an issue, especially with all these medical reports coming out about how dangerous obesity is, and with Meredith doing *her* obesity thing. Since she admitted many times in the past how no matter how hard she dieted she never lost weight, she had, or will have very soon, the WLS done. She never announced publically that she had WLS, and her publicist says she never comments on the personal lives of her clients, but it's been announced in " the business " that Barbra Walters is doing a special that will consist of the surgery - the pre-op conselling, the operation itself, and all the follow-up care. Of course, since Star herself refuses to comment, we'll just have to wait and see. I can't imagine what she is going thru, I mean yes, I thought about WLS, and I was all set to have WLS, but refused to bow to my Dr's wishes on which type, so here I am, and lighter at that! I just can't imagine having your job on the line as well (or that's the way it sounds). >Since she admitted many times in the past > how no matter how hard she dieted she never lost weight, she had, or > will have very soon, the WLS done. I truely hope she doesn't regret it! I would like to be able to say that " no job is worth it " , but she must be getting paid a decent salary and I wonder if she feels that she wouldn't be able to get another job " at her weight " (fed to her by Barbra and others I'm sure) so she has to go thru with it. There are so many complications that can go along with WLS, and what suprises me is I've talked to a few and I have asked them questions, they can't even tell me *which* WLS they had, let alone the complications that can come along with it. It reminds me of Disney's version of Lemmings, all jumping off the cliff because the other ones did. *sigh* > > She never announced publically that she had WLS, and her publicist > says she never comments on the personal lives of her clients, but it's > been announced in " the business " that Barbra Walters is doing a > special that will consist of the surgery - the pre-op conselling, the > operation itself, and all the follow-up care. Do you blame Star? I mean she has said all along that she was proud of her wieght, and to do this means that she was lying. It would be very difficult to admitt to the entire world that you were not only lying, but very unhappy with yourself, that you were a " failure " when it comes to being able to control yourslef when it comes to food. Even if that isn't the case, that is how it would appear. I don't know which is worse, announcing it or not announcing it. People will come to their own conclusions anyways, right or wrong. > > Of course, since Star herself refuses to comment, we'll just have to > wait and see. or is that Weight and see > who isn't getting her email again and has to post on-line Hey... thanks for joining me!! a who always posts on line! Guest guest
I've heard it was lapband surgery...but that's just online gossip (I go to Television Without Pity a lot, and they LOVE discussing Ms !) I would also bet she's had PS -- maybe chest reduction. I would be curious how much weight she has lost and what her current weight is -- not that it's any of my business! Joanie 5/25/04 Drs. Guest guest
Very interesting! I can't wait to hear! I have always thought that she had surgery .. and if she did ... good for her! It is no one's business but hers and she does look great. in GA > > I've heard it was lapband surgery...but that's just online gossip (I go to > Television Without Pity a lot, and they LOVE discussing Ms !) Guest guest
You know, I like Star .. However, I guess I am going to sound a little negative here.. but she goes all out for this wonderful wedding of hers... millions and millions of dollars and she is writing a book; what in the world will she have to say? And, why not just come out and tell the world what she did.. make us pay probably $19.95 or more..(especially when she was asking for freebee's at her wedding and do you know how many mouths that millions of dollars, let alone the $19.95 that I won't spend on her book could feed?) just spill the beans star!! lolol Humm, am I sounding a little catty today? lolol Debbie in st. louis > > I've heard it was lapband surgery...but that's just online gossip (I go to > Television Without Pity a lot, and they LOVE discussing Ms !) Guest guest
Oh you are MILD compared to some of what I saw when I googled " did Star have bypass surgery " ... boy ... there are people out there that REALLY HATE her! She is just making money .. just like with her wedding, etc.... in GA > > > > I've heard it was lapband surgery...but that's just online gossip > (I go to > > Television Without Pity a lot, and they LOVE discussing Ms > !)
