Yikes, I hope that we did not overlook a great resource here. These days, it is only too easy to slam the brakes on all of the autism "resources" coming our way. They come our way, fast and furious, leading some of us to believe that some are making a living out of doing this. Yet, it takes some effort to keep the ones which are worth keeping.AasaSubject: Media Loss: OC Register's Inside Autism Closing ShopTo: EOHarm Received: Wednesday, November 26, 2008, 3:11 AM

Autism is supposed to be a gold mine for exploitation according to the

AAP. Yet, the OC Register apparently doesn't think so. -Lenny

OC Register's Inside Autism Closing Shop

And so we reach the end of this project. I'm moving on to cover a

different beat, so Inside Autism will be going dormant. It should all

be archived for a long time to come in case you want to read some of

the greatest hits!

Thanks for all your interest and contributions, commenting, voting,

being my sources and occasionally writing my posts. I'll still be

writing about autism, but not as often and not in the blog format.

We'll also continue to have autism-based discussions on our Web site

at ocregister.com/ ocmoms.

Well it is stupid to shut it down, it has never looked like a full

time job but has been great to receive regular news from one regular

mainstream source. More emails to send I guess....maybe they will

keep it on the radar and not stop.
