Guest guest
Thank you for posting these papers. The role of nanoparticles and their translocation to the brain in dogs and humans has been investigated by Dr. Lilian Calderon-Garciduenas. She used young adults and children exposed to Mexico City air pollution as well as a canine model. She and her colleagues clearly demonstrated the translocation mechanism occurs via Olfactory mucosa and across the alveolar membrane. They have also shown that nanoparticles enter red blood cells and can be transported to all organs of the body. If you are interested in these papers, please email me and I will foward them to anyone who requests.
