Looks like the boys from Emory are at it again and trying to remain status

quo.

They have instructed Professor of Psychiatry and Radiology at Emory, Doug

Bremner, who is also the author of the book " Before you take that pill, why

the drug industry may be bad for your health " , that he is not permitted to

acknowledge he is associated with them when he writes his Blog or publishes

in Inside Higher Education.

So what does that mean? Does that mean they think you shouldn't think

before you take that pill? Or does it mean they don't want it known that

their professors think you should think before you take that pill? Or does it

mean they don't want it known that someone who actually works for them

understands what goes on Inside Higher Education?

What does go on inside higher education? Censorship of professors being

allowed to say where they work when they are warning the public to be aware of

drugs?????

Sounds like a good topic for Inside Higher Education. But I guess you

couldn't prove you were actually inside higher education when you wrote the

article, because you couldn't acknowledge where you worked.

Maybe Emory did not receive the memo that Bush is no longer in the

White House. Frightening when you think about how many of the powers that be

within the CDC come from the powers that be within Emory.
