We initially got DMSA OTC by ordering it online. The Yahoo list

Autism-Mercury has all the links and resources for that since many

parents there direct their kids' treatments. Now we get a

prescription from a DAN. I got the impression that the product was

pulled from at least one OTC provider.

Someone from one of the alphabet regulatory agencies (I want to say

it was Insel) did some kind of Q and A on the issue of autism.

I can't remember the forum or whether it was an article or a

transcript from a call-in show. In any case, some buttinsky or ND

member of the public complained that " dangerous chelators " were

available online and this alphabet agency official remarked that,

oh, then the government should look into this. From that point on, I

suspected that DMSA would be pulled from OTC at some point. It's just

their MO. If they could demand that all children's products be loaded

with casein and gluten, they would. The treatments prove the cause.

FDA pulls DMSA and hope from children with autism and ADHD

Random acts of violence are usually considered methods of the weak, but a long history of FDA political violence directed against public health safety and our freedom to obtain dietary supplements reveals something more calculated and oppressive. The results of FDA actions are obvious: Our right to choose safe health care alternatives and abstain from questionable medical practices is increasingly met with fierce opposition . . .
