Guest guest
Hi everyone. Thank you all for your posts - your ideas are very helpful. I mostly lurk around here, but I read the posts every day. I've developed a new problem, and went through previous posts figuring that someone must have dealt with this before, but I couldn't find anything. I have hammer toes, and my pinky toes are really tightly curved. They aren't quite rigid yet, but the right one seems to be getting there (in spite of my frequent massaging/stretching of my toes). A few weeks ago, I noticed that the skin under my toes was getting flaky, so I've been putting lots of baby powder under them. Yesterday, when I was drying my feet, I found that I now have an open sore under one of my toes. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas to help with this - I'm concerned about infections starting there, since it's just skin on skin with no air getting in there except when I'm stretching the toe out. Thanks for all you help Nina P.
