I'm a month out from a triple arthrodesis, osteotomies, heel cord lengthening and

moved my heel over. Got five screws holding it all together.

Yesterday the doc X-rayed and said it all looked well, and I could start putting

weight on the leg ... 50LB this week 100 next if it went OK and so on. Am I

right that this is not theraputic to strengthen anything, but just to make it

easier to do things? In other words, I should just do what I need to do and not

make an effort to exercise this by walking on it as much as I can tolerate.

HE said a month of this then a month in a removable cast and then I'll start PT.
