Guest guest
Hello, More advice needed! I have mentioned my 15 year-old son, Yohan, in the past, and now need some input from the . He is dealing with rapidly progressing kyphosis (hunchback), and we will be in San Diego next week to see Dr. Newton, a back specialist for spinal issues in kids. Now, because his ribcage is " differently formed " (called pectus carinatum), he can no longer lift his right arm past the shoulder, due to the fact that the clavicle (collarbone) pops out of the breastbone, where it attaches. I have 2 questions. What type of specialist should we see for this specific problem? I also would like to know if anyone else has experienced a similar phenomenon, and if so, what have you done to address the issue, if anything? Many Thanks, PS: Just bought some stamps and find them to be not only colorful and attractive, but a great way to spread awareness of CMT too. Thanks Gretchen!
