Guest guest
I took red rice yeast for years until the whammy of CMT hit me a couple years ago. I stopped taking it for about a year to deal with the CMT onset issues, and when I tried to start up again, I could really feel it in my muscles. It is still a statin, though a natural one. Guest guest
Hi , I agree, there is a need to be careful with red yeast rice. I took it for a couple of years myself and think it may have been harmful to me too. It's not regulated by the FDA, so the strength can vary significantly and can even exceed the prescription strength. It's safer to take a prescription medication than this 'natural' alternative.
