several other people mentioned something about if you have autism you get

speech 5x a week but I can't seem to find anything to really back that up at

least not here in VA anyway. I guess you could say that if you broke down her

speech to 20 minute sessions it would equal to 5x a week. Could you see them

changing it to 5 hours a week? They'd have to pick me off the floor from

the shock of it. lol

I am in the state of New York, and have only been here for 7 months, this is

what I was told by the CSE committee and that is what my son recieves. Viola

Do you mean New York state or City. That level of service is unheard of

here.

Good luck Carol. I have Seth's next month, but Charlyne can't make it so

I'll cancel it until she can come. There's NO WAY I'd face that lynch mob

without her there! LOL We're in NY and Seth gets speech 5x's a week too. BUT,

if that's a law here, it's about the only one they abide by. Ugh.....

Thanks everyone, I'll let you know how it turns out. Got our tax money back

today so we will be taking Trisha out for her birthday after the meeting,

that is if she is feeling up to it.

I had it on my calendar. Prayers will be coming your way that the

meeting goes well and you get what you are asking for. Louise

Carol,

Best of luck today, I'll be thinking of you and hoping for fantastic results.

I hope they fill all of your requests.

I hope Trisha is up for a night out on the town to celebrate her B-day. Have

fun!
