Guest guest
CMTA, the CMT Association which runs the coordinates CMT research and runs the website at http://www.charcot-marie-tooth.org/, is raising funds by creating a cookbook entitled " Alphabet Soup: The ABC's of Comfort Food for Shattered Nerves. " They're looking for great recipes and offering a prize for the best submitted recipe before May 31. You can find a simple recipe submission form at http://www.cmtausa.org/recipe and urge you to take the time to submit one of your favorite recipes for the book. It's a good cause. CMTA is the organization behind the exciting STAR project which has a good shot at finding a treatment or even a cure for CMT1A within the next few years. They've recently appointed a dynamic and enthusiastic CEO, Hall, who's brought some new energy and ideas to this long-established organization. Today I submitted my family's favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe, one that makes large (5 " cookies) like the ones you get in coffee shops. If you'd like to check it out, you can see the submission form with the recipe in our files section at http://f1.grp.fs.com/v1/IObcSWIjEaMoUsK6O5S-__0A8cidmCVNHFGKEzbgN4aV9zJyfZF\ zy6Aus3VjisUqtKGHlhrPZENVQIjKaog/GiantCookieRecipe.pdf ------ Rick Alber
