Guest guest
From: Tug <tug_slug@...> Subject: [] Apartment Hunting Date: Sunday, August 22, 2010, 1:55 PM Â As many of you know I've been looking for an apartment, I have found a couple of perspective places but am afraid to sign on the bottom line because of the possibility there could be mold hidden some where. There was a hotel that I lived in from January to May without any problems but they raised the rent by $100 so thats a no go. For those of you who successfully managed to find someplace safe to live how exactly did you go about doing it, what did you look for before you committed yourself to that specific property? Guest guest
My most successful move was to a hotel. Too_ my clothes only after wash_ng them. At frst developed a bad rash. AC was very drty. After they cleaned that out was good there. Too_ a couple months though to feel better. Moved to an apartment that too_ me two months to f_nd. Thought t was good. Month to month lease but felt -MUCH- worse after moved n than my own home that had gven me problem. Other people n apartment bldg seemed f_ne. Was the bldg though bec promptly after movng out return to feelng as before moved n. So for me very dffcult. > > For those who have successfully moved from their WDB to an apartment what precautions did you take and how long did you wait before you started to furnish it? I have to move and am afraid to sign a lease or spend the money on clothing or furniture on the chance the apartment has mold. Every apartment I've been to wants at least a 6 month lease month to month isn't an option. > > The hotel that I stayed at after my first exposure and started to feel better has lowered their rates making it affordable again, moving there would be so much easier as I wont have to spend money on furniture and if one room gets me sick I can always change rooms. > > Thanks > > Tug >

Guest guest
p.s. my own remed_ated home _s more tolerable to me than many other places 've been to but not perfect. Only soluton would be tent but that would be dffcult for me for others reasons unrelated to exposure. > > > > For those who have successfully moved from their WDB to an apartment what precautions did you take and how long did you wait before you started to furnish it? Guest guest
Any suggestions about motel/hotel chains or locales that are " safe " and have few toxins? I am scared to stay in a motel due to the scare about bed bugs and what I presume would create more pesticide use. Good places in the Central Coast that are " safe " for folks with multiple sensitivities? Thanks for any ideas...  ________________________________ From: barb b w <barb1283@...> Sent: Fri, October 29, 2010 6:54:30 AM Subject: [] Re: Apartment hunting  p.s. my own remed_ated home _s more tolerable to me than many other places 've been to but not perfect.
