It seems as if I can smell the mold more now that I have had 3 root canals. It is odd I know, but I heard they used to use formaldehyde in the root canals, could this be why I am MCS as well a combo of mold exposure and root canals? My dentist pretty much is trying to force me to get another root canal, It's my last tooth, and I am already suffering with MCS, should I tell him to go to hell or what? I really just want the dang thing pulled, its been hurting for over 2 years and its the upper right last tooth. He never saw a thing on the xray, but he did the pulpotomy and when he was in there discovered one of the canals was dried up and a fracture in the tooth. Why doesn't he just pull the tooth? I am fed up with money hungry dentists. Anyways, just figured it was related since I am MCS and smell mold, even floors away. >

Guest guest
Yes, I find that a tooth problem just exacerbates my MCS. And sometimes i get a toothache that is nothing but a reaction to mold. I worry about a cavity or something worse and know now that it's just a reaction to an exposure (had one a few weeks ago and it went away). I think whenever you get teeth worked on it compromises your health a bit. > > Anyone else experience more problems smelling mold when they have a bad tooth/teeth? Guest guest
, I think thats what I'm going to end up haveing to do. I was once told my teeth would last me the rest of my life but now the roots die befor the tooth gets bad and I have to get them pulled. the minute I get one pulled another one is alredy getting to that point. a few more and I might as well get them all pulled, tried of dealing with them. > > mine sent me to have oral surgery and have all my teeth removed said I > was fighting a losing battle > > >
Guest guest
Also there are precautions to be taken for MCS'ers with dentistry. No gas anesthesia for instance. What material your fillings and implants are made of etc, all of this can affect your health in the long run. So take care to pay attention to any new symtoms or such use a diary. http://www.ctaz.com/~bhima/dentsafer.htm http://mcs-america.org/index_files/DentalCareandAmalgams.htm http://www.mercuryfreenow.com/mercurydetox/poison.html    God Bless !! dragonflymcs Mayleen
Guest guest
Here is some info : Quote from the site Allowing your dentist to put mercury in your mouth is the worst thing you can allow him to do. Allowing him to do a root canal is the second worst thing you can allow him to do. The book Root Canal Cover-up by Dr. Meinig, D.D.S., F.A.C.D., reveals that the root canal procedure traps bacteria in the dentin tubules. These bacteria proliferate and produce toxins that can travel all over the body lowering the body's immune system and causing serious health problems. http://zap.intergate.ca/dentist.html   http://heartspring.net/mercury_poison_symptoms.html God Bless !! dragonflymcs Mayleen
Guest guest
My doctor is sending me to a dentist who understands mold and MCS. I had one dentist who re-did a root canal three times. I then had to go to an oral surgeon who re-did his work. The tooth still hurts. I have severe jaw/tooth pain, but it seems to move and be sporadic, not like a typical toothache. I'm scared to go to the dentist, but worry that an absess or something could be making me sicker. I trust my doctor but am a white-knuckler about the dentist and can't imagine getting care without nitrous. Bad reactions to this after exposure? Feedback? ________________________________ From: surellabaer <surellabaer@...> Sent: Sun, August 22, 2010 10:12:54 AM Subject: [] Re: Mold, migraines and root canals  Yes, I find that a tooth problem just exacerbates my MCS. Guest guest
Im sorry to hear your story but mine is the same. I got very sick working in a moldy building. Workmens Comp wouldn't bite and they put me out on disability which is only500 dolars a month. That was six years ago. Im still sick. Sorry I dont have a better outcome but mine was worse as it was federal government and no lawyer wanted to touch it. Good luck to you Janet In a message dated 8/24/2010 11:57:45 A.M. I have already had 3 root canals and now I am wondering did the mold cause the need to get root canals? I got the bad tooth pulled yesterday, now my whole side of the face is swollen. I get to work today, and all my upper teeth are aching even with the pain meds. The air handler has been leaking right outside my work area, and it smells of mold in this building. I have been working with the state for 7 years, I have just started to make all the connections of mold in the workplace. I had no idea it was so bad. I started a blog and have been taking pictures at work, but now I am stuck. What do I do now? Ifeel that I need to quit, but need insurance, I have fmla, and I hear workers comp is very difficult to get and I am in North carolina, lawyers are afraid to fight the state around here. SO do I just give up and quit? File workers comp? and get turned down? I just know I need to get the hell out of this place. NC STATE is making me sick! It sucks cause I like my job!
