Guest guest
Tug. I think it was Sue that said to calm down. I agree. In saying that I share what you are feeling on a daily basis as well. I am getting ready to move myself to Texas. The thing that seems to be the hardest is tracking what it is that is triggering the things that are bothering you. I have been doing it for five years and dont think I have come up with any real solutions but then I live with my parents for now so cutting out certain things such as soaps and the like is not possible. That does not sound like the situation in your case. I will contact you privetly with some other ideas I have that might help but for sure, at least for the moment try to chill. (Im saying that as If I know how to do that...) I will talk to you soon. I never really thought about post traumatic stress disorder but I cant tell you it does exist and I experience it every day. As much as I love living here all I can think about doing is running as far away from this place as possible due to the mold they found in the a/c coils but I have no guarantees that I'll be moving into a safe environment. I cant sign a lease because if I get sick in my new apartment than what? I looked into moving back into the hotel I was living in for 3 months and their rent has gone up almost $100.00 a month which I cant afford. As far as I know we dont have any more mold in the house but Im
Guest guest
Advocate, KC sent me a link to the page to post pictures, when I filled out the necessary information and went to the next page I received this message There was an error creating your album You do not have rights to perform this operation : 105 If you'd like I can email it to you but I'll wait for your response. Sue yesterday I reached an all time low in my well being, it was 95 degrees outside and the thermostat said 90 degrees inside. I didnt think I was going to die I was sure of it, now with the a/c down all i could do was lay on the sofa and try to endure. Last night as I was laying on the sofa suffering I was analyzing my situation and wondering why I was so sick. I thought back when I was living in the hotel, I remember only having a red zip up hoody that I bought at Wal Mart when I'd have to go out in the blowing snow I would freeze so when I got back into the room i'd turn on the heat as high as it would go and after awhile I'd start to get sick, its not like i was just to hot the feeling that came over me is hard to explain so I'd turn off the heater and within a few minutes i'd start to feel better. Now that I've been going to the sauna I've noticed that after 15 minutes i have no choice but to get out, when I stand up I get extremely dizzy and feel like Im going to pass out. Its currently 73 degrees, while I still dont feel that good I dont feel nearly as bad as I did yesterday. Someone suggested heat intolerance, at first I thought there was no way I felt this way due to the heat but now that I sit here and think about maybe it is the heat that's *contributing to my deteriorating health. Theres so many reasons why I could be getting sick but in my mind it all didnt start till we turned on the a/c this summer so naturally I keep thinking its at the root of the majority of my health issues. Thanks Tug > > Dave, > > I'm not a doc, but if I were you I would take a few deep deep breaths, > try not to panic, there is no " perfect " , you are in pretty good, stay, > calm down, then focus on trying to better understand what is triggering > reactions for you, is the formaldehyde in new sofa? a little lingering > mold, keep a
Guest guest
Thanks the only time I really freak out is when Im feeling really sick. The temperature today is a nice comfortable 75 degrees with a cool breeze and I feel much better than I did yesterday. My g/f has spent literally thousands of dollars trying to make this house safe for me and now because the a/c coils are so rusted out and the drain pan is just as bad shes going to spend another $360.00 to have the coils and pan replaced. I really feel bad because if I wasnt in her life she would never have had to spend so much money. She's obviously not doing this all on her own as Im helping her but I have to think about the possibility that I may not be able to live here no matter how much money is spent so I have to keep some cash on hand in case I need to move. I spent some time in Dallas when i was able to work and really liked it. i have a friend that lives in el paso that wants me to move there but at my age moving that far is out of the question. > > Tug. Guest guest
Tug: I bet you are suffering from thermal deregulation. This condition prevents your body from adjusting its internal temperature to the external temperature . It is caused from an injury to the pituitary/hypothalamus and often happens when mold injury affects the brain. If I go outside when its 105* like lately, my body temp will go up to 100* or so and when I come back inside with the AC on, my body temp will go down to 97* or so. All within a few minutes of eachother. If you have this conditiong, the sauna and/or hot sun will cause you to become weak and dizzy. Experiment with taking your body temp when you are having symptoms, I would bet that you have thermal deregulation. If you dont understand my post, google it. Guest guest
 You might want to watch the second post I put up on morgellons. It seems to fall right in line with the conditions you just explained Dianne. Interesting. Guest guest
Excellent thinking! Are we really uncovering the mystery here ?! BTW I googled & needed to use " thermal dysregulation " . Serotonin may be involved. > > Tug: I bet you are suffering from thermal deregulation. This condition prevents your body from adjusting its internal temperature to the external temperature . Guest guest
it may not be thermal dysregulation its about 55 degrees and I still feel pretty dizzy and light headed. Im really irritable today to (I'll put my thoughts in here because by the time this posts to the board I won't be online, but since Tug said it is when it is sun shiny and hot out, it is the attic. I think people downplay the attic of attic getting very hot when it gets very hot from sun beating down on it, now attic may be fine but it will dry hot air down into he house usually coming down interior wall cavities and then into house. Guest guest
Thanks AN I hope everything is working out for you > > Tug, were you going to post the photos of the mold? I guess I don't know your entire situation, but you can get air and carpet samples done that would at least give a snapshot as to whether or not there are actual levels of mold in your environment. Spores are everywhere, but they don't become a problem without moisture. So even if your basement had some spores floating in it from the coils, you can still be without a problem. And you could have your house cleaned by an abatement company to ensure nothing happens. Right now, it sounds like you don't know whether you have a problem leftover from the AC, but are building disaster scenarios in your mind nonetheless. Try to move somewhere in your mind from emotion-laden responses to a place that balances facts and emotions. To do that, though, you need to have some facts. Right now, it's conjecture...
