Guest guest
fungal spore cells have a waxy covering, high amounts of airborne fungal spores landing on everything would leave a very waxy, hard to remove covering on everything. humm,it may be the use of very hot water that plays the biggest role in saving some belongings. I believe was the difference in my to homes where the first one was dealing with a black toxic dust as spore realease may have been mostly confined to the 3rd floor with roof leaks and in the walls, while the second home had a hudge moisture problem, throughout, and no dought after the high heat to keep it dry which probably helped the mycotoxins fly, than me moving in there and not running heat just made the mold spores take off like crazy. this is what coated all my belongings with this green waxy covering, it didn't appear green until I tried washing things with hot water, dawn, and ammonia, but I remember the water turned green. I had a big plastic tub with several things in it setting outside soaking, I boiled more hot water and poured it in the tub because everything still had that waxy felling, thats when the water started turning really green.
