Guest guest
Before I knew to throw out contaminated items, the new items I brought in became cross-contaminated. Some of them are 3rd-generation contaminated items. I have bought new clothes for myself and the bedsheets and furniture have been cross-contaminated by various " generations " of contaminated items. A lady who is a well-known author on this topic has recommended the use of zephrin chloride (Benzalkonium Chloride) for the bedding and furniture that was cross-contaminated. Has anyone had luck with this? I was also looking for the best prices for it. There is a compounding pharmacy that can make it but it's also available here: http://www.scioptic-usa.com/zech.html I am disturbed by this informatiom as well though: http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/ingredient.php?ingred06=700674 Please let me know what you think....maybe I shouldn't use it....seems to be carcinogenic....what should I use instead? Is the vinegar, baking soda, borax and hydrogen peroxide (not sure if it's better.... http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/ingredient/702911/HYDROGEN_PEROXIDE/) better...please let me know what your experiences have been....thanks
Guest guest
Who is the well known author on this topic? I just hope you don't mean me, I have never mentioned it on this site, but that is the active ingredient in Equate Antibacterial wipes-less than a dollar for 40 wipes. I find that my back is very sensitive to toxin, and burns easily. When it is burning , even a shower with lots of scrubbing does not help, so when I get out of the shower, I wipe my back down with these wipes, BINGO! totally gone. So, as an experiment, I would clean tems first to get as many spores off as possible, then wipe them down with these wipes. would seem hard to do clothing with this chemical, I can totally clean my clothes of toxin with Vulpex soap, an expensive conservators soap, but I have posted this many times, for it to work the clothes must soak in hot water overnight, use 1/2 cup per large load. > > Before I knew to throw out contaminated items, the new items I brought in became cross-contaminated.
