Guest guest
Diane, Have you seen that Food for Life has two kinds of organic gluten-free english muffins that are also dairy and sugar free? They've been selling them at Whole Foods near us for some months. They're not bad and glad to see the rare organic, sugar-free kind of gluten-free product. Sam Do you have a Whole Foods Store in your area? I have not eaten sugar, dairy or gluten for many years and still enjoy cooking and eating many foods. Go to the organic/gluten free sections and there are many choices. The bread I now eat is made of rice and rice bran and is very good. Guest guest
Hi Sam: Food for Life is the exact brand that I buy, I love their brown rice tortillas. I do believe that the English Muffins have yeast in them, am I correct? I cannot do yeast of any kind but thanks for letting me know! D > Do you have a Whole Foods Store in your area? Guest guest
Robin: This bread also contains yeast. It is not recommended that moldies eat any products that contain yeast as it promotes fungus in the gut. Thanks D > > > > Hi Sam: Food for Life is the exact brand that I buy, I love their brown rice tortillas. I do believe that the English Muffins have yeast in them, am I correct? Guest guest
Yes, Diane, you are correct there is some yeast in them Dang and you know this is proof of what a space cadet I've become. Have read that list of ingredients many times and never absorbed it. Thanks for the heads up. i'll try to stay way from grains. And can't say Ive noticed a problem with the occasional ffl gluten free eng muff. But I have noted problems with the gluten free items that have sugar in them. Thanks again,Sam Hi Sam: Food for Life is the exact brand that I buy, I love their brown rice tortillas. I do believe that the English Muffins have yeast in them, am I correct? Guest guest
Yes I noticed that. :-( not sure if I am going to stop my kids from eating it though (and they do not eat alot of much other kids can have or this bread).. they are already so restricted and this makes a huge diff in their lives. We'll see how they progress as we leave this environment. Robin > > > > > > Hi Sam: Food for Life is the exact brand that I buy, I love their brown rice tortillas. Guest guest
Robin, Anyone try DeLand " millet special " bread? No yeast, but it's not made in dedicated gluten free bakery, so there's still a small chance of cross contamination. I limit grains, eat yeast free until I feel I'm recovered, which may take awhile. Guest guest
Hvent tried.. better if form gluten free facility. I really do not enjoy grains anymore.. its more for my kids. They have limited sugar and are on a pretty restrictive diet. The Udi's is like a slice of heaven for them. So Im keeping it in for now. We'll see how it goes after we move. Id hate to take this away from them.
