Guest guest
That is a good question. I personally know several children who receive neither diet nor medical intervention. They are pretty much the same place developmentally as my son, who has been on the protocol for the last 4.5 years. My son NEEDED the protocol. He was sick ALL THE TIME from 18 months until he had been on the protocol for some time, with ear infections/fluid in his ears, respiratory infections, rashes, severe constipation, etc.. The other kids never really got sick like my son did. My son is just finishing 2nd grade and - woohoo!!! - missed only 1 day of school this year due to illness. In K it was closer to 20 days. In preschool, he missed weeks of school. Kristy Nardini TazziniTM Stainless Steel Bottles <http://www.tazzini.com/> http://www.tazzini.com kristy@... Guest guest
I know, right? One is 6-ish. She has had TONS of ABA. Another is around 11. He has been on special “vitamins†and some prescriptions (I think Adderall) but not really any other biomed or diet. He has had tons of OT, ST, Floortime, ABA, etc. The other’s parents are both doctors (one an osteopath) and they don’t believe it’s “medical†at all. He still walks very high on his toes, but has good language. He has had a lot of ST and some OT, special day classes, LOTS of socializing (they are from a huge family with lots of kids that live nearby). Just read a post from another list where it was posted that baby shampoo can break up the biofilm in aspergellius (ms) ..any info would be great. Guest guest
This is an example of why you can't believe everything you read on the internet. Using shampoo in your nose is insane. > > I read on one of the groups that someone said their doctor recommended using baby shampoo in their nasal rinse. Guest guest
I understand what your saying about the internet, but also know when fungus thinks it is being attacked it will form a biofilm, that is why so many are now saying to use like Simple Green to remove mold so I can see what his ENT is saying. Thanks for the input. Lee > > > > I read on one of the groups that someone said their doctor recommended using baby shampoo in their nasal rinse. Guest guest
There are safer ways to remove the infections that mold causes in the nasal cavity. I got about 6 years worth of nasties removed with aggressive medical treatments and it did not include shampoo. However, while living in the mold home, I could get it removed somewhat but it would be right back a week later. As someone else mentioned, we have to be careful of what we use. When I was in the mold home, someone on this group said to use peroxide mixed with water in the nose. They claimed that their doctor said to use it to kill fungus in the nose. As sick as I was, I tried EVERYTHING! OMGosh! I had never hurt so bad in my life! I stayed in pain and was sicker for over a week after using peroxide in my nose. > > I understand what your saying about the internet, but also know when fungus thinks it is being attacked it will form a biofilm, that is why so many are now saying to use like Simple Green to remove mold so I can see what his ENT is saying. > Thanks for the input. > Lee >
Guest guest
May I suggest we all learn what a biofilm is and how it is created and how it is different from mycotoxins and when they are created.
