Guest guest
Sorry to say, but she has to care enough about you and your health to do things right. Many couples don't survive this ordeal because it is so stressful and because the health effects can vary so much from one person to the next. ________________________________ From: Tug <tug_slug@...> Sent: Sun, January 31, 2010 12:48:08 PM Subject: [] For those who have families How did you get your entire family into a mold free enviornment? I live alone and have just moved into a new place and am pretty sure I did a pretty good job at not cross contaminating but my girlfriend hasnt taken the precautions i have and the minute she comes over she's going to cross contaminate my new enviornment. Because she took her clothes home without washing them in anything other than detergent now not only her home has mycotoxins in it but her truck does as well. I was in the hospital for 6 days at the beginning of the year, while I was there I felt pretty good but when she came to pick me up within 15 minutes I had the same splitting headache and brain fog I did when I left my condo and haven't been the same since. She doesnt wear perfume so Im sure that wasnt the cause of my symptoms My questions is, how do individuals with families make their new enviornment mycotoxin free when their family members may still have spores on them or their clothing? This is all just so confusing Thanks Tug
Guest guest
Tug, it may not be much comfort but you might do better at getting well if you are alone for awhile. > > Sorry to say, but she has to care enough about you and your health to do things right. Guest guest
, with that in mind is it to late for her to take corrective measures? She can wash her clothes and clean her truck but her house is another story. > > Sorry to say, but she has to care enough about you and your health to do things right. Guest guest
I understand what your saying jeanin but there has to be individuals others there with families who have become hypersensitive to mold that have kept their families intact. Right now Im living in a hotel room that has all the comforts of home, I cant imagine whats it's going to be like when I move into a completely empty apartment, not having any furniture and having to go through this all alone. When I say I have no one I mean there's absolutely no one I can depend on other than my girlfriend. No friends,no family, nothing. > > > > Sorry to say, but she has to care enough about you and your health to do things right. Guest guest
Read Dr Joe Kleins Stackybotres web site. His children shaved their heads, showered and walked naked into a new house. He went through 4 houses, many cars, and dont know if he really ever got it right as he dropped off the radar. And he was the only one who was affected in his family. Would be really interesting to see if they are together today. http://www.stachy.5u.com/posts.html > > How did you get your entire family into a mold free enviornment? Guest guest
All I can say is WOW... That Dr went through some extremes. Im wondering when this all took place and if he was taking any medications to help with his hypersensitivity? I know of one person who became hypersensitive and didnt go to those extremes and managed to come out the otherside fairly well. I was hoping these people would chime in and give me their thoughts/ideas > > Read Dr Joe Kleins Stackybotres web site. His children shaved their heads, showered and walked naked into a new house. Guest guest
given the time when this accured, and what was known than, it fit's in with the " scare your ass off " syndrome, on top of everything else. and either it did or he took things to extreme. some people are extremest by nature. I don't fell it's a good thing to be scared out of your witts when it come to dealing with this, it might drive some people over the edge. and truely, I think we all probably fell like we are dieing at the point we leave our moldy homes, but felling that way and what we are dealing with are two different things. maybe he recovered pretty well and life went on, maybe he was so extreme about it all it drove his family away, because he was a extremest or because of his chemical sensitivity was really bad,who knows. > > Read Dr Joe Kleins Stackybotres web site. Guest guest
personally I like Carl Grime's concept of " practical avoidance " as a good starting point, it is so hard leaving home when feeling so sick, this " clean room avoidance " concept is a little overwhelming, then if less drastic avoidance doesn't help, one can keep taking steps towards more extreme avoidance to see if that helps....it's all a strange and twisted journey.... >given the time when this accured, and what was known than, it fit's in
Guest guest
it's hard. one thing that seems like a very important first steps after getting out is haveing your sinuses checked out for fungal balls, cysts, polups, damage, cultures done and sinus washing done. even if you dont fell/think theres any problems there. > > personally I like Carl Grime's concept of " practical avoidance " as a > good starting point, it is so hard leaving home when feeling so sick, > this " clean room avoidance " concept is a little overwhelming, then if > less drastic avoidance doesn't help, one can keep taking steps towards > more extreme avoidance to see if that helps....it's all a strange and > twisted journey.... > > >given the time when this accured, and what was known than, it fit's in >
Guest guest
After reading Dr. Kleins web site a couple years ago, I asked here if anyone knew how he was doing. No reponse. I experienced the same exact sensitivity. After my son came to visit me once after buying new clothes, borrowing a car, etc. I still reacted to him after a few minutes and he confided in me that he had not washed his hair, only wet it because he feared the shampoo would bother me. Its tough, very tough, but it can be done. The hardest part for them to grasp is how it can affect only one person in the family and all of them were in the home together. My situation exactly and so they coninue to doubt it all and honestly, I can't say I blame them...
