Anyone here know how to work around this? I have to suck or chew something to make saliva happen..... so what does an mcs sufferer do? Guest guest
This just started to happen to me last night, I cant seem to drink enough water to keep my mouth from drying out. Guest guest
This is a symptom of Sjogren's disease, an autoimmune disorder affecting the salivary glands and mucous membranes. Oil Pulling. Look it up, there's plenty of sites around. very simple to do. Guest guest
I saw a video on this. Very simple to do. I tried it. It just left my mouth feeling oily. I don't see any explanation of why oil in the mouth would pull anything, no science behind it that I have seen. > > What Mayleen says reminds me of a very unusual procedure whiuch I have never > actually used, (too lazy), but sounds fascinating. Guest guest
: the triad is the classic case. However, one or more of the symptoms can occur. Guest guest
yes I have Barb......I have been taking atenolol for BP for 8 years w/out this affecting me...Only thing I take and I realize that dry mouth is a side effect of BP meds and so many others but what I have now is different because of the other stuff going on in my mouth and throat. I have " astringency " as well for example. No what I have going on is an insane dryness and if mouth occasionaly does stay a bit moist certain environmental causes will trigger immediate dryness...cigarette smoke is one of them... > > > > > > I have to have something to drink with me at all times. > > > >

Guest guest
Dr. Thrasher and : I only mentioned dry mouth in my post because I was looking for something to help relieve the mouth dryness without triggering MCS symptoms..... I DO have severely dry eyes as well torturing me.... Some sore muscles and joints as well. I think I do have Sjogrens....I had spoken to an ENT about this, he pressured saliva glands in my neck and said that I express saliva too freely for Sjogrens...that was a couple of months ago, since then my dryness has changed to extremely chronic. I have never accepted the ENT opinion. But he did state that even if I had sjogrens nothing could be done as there is no cure....and I knew that going in..... Thanks for input guys...Ian
Guest guest
ah, the plot thickens..... Get very competently adjusted, spinally as well as cranially, and find a strongly referred homeopath. I'll look into essential oils, as I now am curious. Sjogrens', of course. scott _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of RUSTEE Sent: Tuesday, February 01, 2011 12:41 AM Subject: [] Re: dry mouth help wanted Dr. Thrasher and : I only mentioned dry mouth in my post because I was looking for something to help relieve the mouth dryness without triggering MCS symptoms.....
