Hey Donna,

Glad you had a safe return.

I know back to reality.

Aw, thanks Irma. That's so sweet of you....I like your little greeting!!!!!

Yes, back to reality. Miss Maddie was sweet....typically, she's REAL

annoyed with me when I leave her for even a day. This time, she welcomed me

right back...no cold shoulder. She must be maturing......YIKES!!!!! ;-)

Donna,

how many pubs did you go to?

How many brewskis did you taste?

hehe

Welcome back

Sherry

Thanks Sherry. No pubs....my aunt was THAT much work. My sister and I

planned too, but my aunt was so demanding and exhausting. I'm not

kidding...my sister and I kept saying no one would believe us. We only got to

do one

shop too.....she was unbearable. Patty and I DID sneak out one night to

the bar at the hotel, but it wasn't a pub. I was there a few times before,

but this was my sister's first trip. At least she got a *taste of Ireland*

and is now motivated to go back. I felt so bad; it wasn't any way for

someone to visit Ireland.

AAwwwww I'm sorry, may I suggest a trip to the local pub with Duff to make

up for it? It's a long ways till St. Patty's day. Too bad it wasn't the

vacation " I " pictured; you would really have enjoyed that one. Ireland looks so

beautiful (on TV) I only landed in one time and all I saw was the gift

shop. Close as I got.

Sherry

Sherry, I have been a few times before with Duff, so don't feel TOO sorry

for me. I just felt bad for my sister and my aunt's friend Rita, who had

never been. AND I felt sorry for ALL of us because of my aunt's behavior.

I

had been telling Duff all along that this trip was going to be a nightmare,

and guess what??? It was a thousand times worse than I thought. But I'm

home now, and Duff's taking me out to dinner tonight, so life is good

again....LOL

Donna

P.S. My sister and her husband own an Irish pub here in Philly called

Harringtons (my maiden name). I don't really go though.....I just wanted to

go

to pubs in Ireland because it's so cool to chat with the Irish folks there.
