Guest guest
While I dont get it I do not have an " allergy " to anything including mold, but my genetic makeup and the hell I have been through since my exposure tells me having an allergy has its own set of symptoms and none of them include the symptoms that come with exposure of a person with genetics set up this way. ________________________________ From: CU <jackiebreeze@...> Sent: Fri, August 20, 2010 7:23:27 PM Subject: [] Re: HLA Shoemaker genotype, blood titers to molds, and Lyme disease  Nope, not everyone who is ill from mold have an allergy to mold. It is still good to have the test to either rule the allergy out or to be treated for the allergy. ICG positive does not necessarily mean you are allergic to mold. I agree, it can be quite confusing! > > OK so don't we ALL have an allergy to mold here? Guest guest
No, not everyone. Some have an allergy response called " delayed hypersensitivity, " where the allergic reaction is mediated through T cells, if I recall correctly. Allergy shots are not effective for that type of response. On Aug 20, 2010, at 11:20 AM, " catherine " <ce_hansen@...> wrote: OK so don't we ALL have an allergy to mold here? Guest guest
D,  I'll have to check it out. It's for digital signals for HD since no more analog or something w cell phones? I'm sorry it's bothering everyone. People in Dallas are having a hard time since they arrived here. From what I understand, it is a digital signal from the meters so that they do not have to be read at the location. Throwing people for a loop here. D > I wonder if it''s all an EMF issue. I felt better after moviing here until we got the computers & sattelite going. Our phone wires are under ground. >Does anyone know if satellite receivers for TV's give off emf's? I feel weird from flat screen tv's too. I guess I'm screwed. Too many emf's in our world now. It's all since the mold. >
Guest guest
Others can explain it better, but allergy is not what it is about for most. It is about a toxic exposure. This might be a good example-- but if you had toxic exposure to lead or asbestos or mercury, this doesn't mean your are allergic to it. What many on the list are dealing with is a toxic exposure that causes a myriad of health problems. An allergy could be involved for some, but is not the real cause of biotoxin illness. So, you can have allergy tests that don;t even register any issues with mold at all and still have the problems from exposure. Hope this is helpful,Sam OK so don't we ALL have an allergy to mold here? Wouldn't all benefit from skin testing and shots? I guess I have a mold allergy since I have IGG positive tests. Guest guest
Good point. You can be tested for delayed hypersensitivity through the Alcat or ELISA/ACT companies and one other I can't recall. I do not know if these delayed responses will respond to allergy shots though. The only protocols I've heard of for sure are avoidance and then for foods to avoid also and go on a rotation diet.Sam No, not everyone. Guest guest
Hever tested positive for mold, took allergy shots for a while. testing cost a fortune, allergists know nothing about mold illness, don't waste your money. Being ill from a toxin is not an allergy > > OK so don't we ALL have an allergy to mold here?
