Immune Stimulants/Re: OT: Beta - Glucan

Jeanine.. this is great info. Thank you!!! I dont plan to take immune stimulants

like beta glucan at the moment. I am too inflammed and there are others to

choose from other than BC if and when I see the need for them.. that said.. BC

is being used for stem cell enhancement and I would like to explore that at some

point if I am still struggling in the future and not dealing with chronic

inflammation.

I do not have a clear understanding about beta glucans and endotoxins.

Now I am questioning the use of colostrum which I have been taking. I dont know

if it initiates innate immunity or not or if stimulation of innate immunity is

the only concern.

I also dont quite understand how to balance controlling inflammation with

controlling infections. It is par for the course in lymeland to " herx " which is

an inflammatory reaction.

I think immune stimulants along with an antiviral is the current treatment for

the retrovirus XMRV now HGRV.. my test is coming and I will know soon enough.

There may be some interplay between mold illness and the retrovirus.

Chicken-egg. The inflammation calls out the virus or somehow the virus makes one

more vulnerable to mold toxins.

If macrophages go bad in relation to toxins, then it makes sense what I am

hearing here and on other boards that enough avoidance to calm the system down

and use of csm or other binders as necessary to get toxins out is of first

importance. Otherwise you may be adding fuel to the fire.

Yep.. what you are saying makes sense and I would appreciate the links if you

can find them.

I am still questioning potential for probiotics, cultured veges and dairy to

create inflammation. I want a deeper understanding of these.. I know some are

known to create inflammation in some people and I want to stay clear of them for

now and then interoduce back in later and see what happens. Posted elsewhere.. I

know this info is somewhere.
