Guest guest
I know you've already bought your new chair, but have you ever considered getting a glider kind of rocker with a gliding ottoman, they make solid wood ones w/no apholstery, you can add a throw pillow, and I think it is much less toxic and pretty comfortable, just a thought. Guest guest
I thank you for your input Sue.  Sales people get exasperated with me when I shop for things.  I have a bad back, bad hip, broken tailbone, so it has been next to impossible to find furniture I can sit on without pain or my hip and back being pulled out of alignment. In 1990 I bought my own steno chair for work because the chairs they make these days have a bucket seat to them, not good padding either. My legs go numb in them within 10 min. I hate ergonomic chairs. I need a flat/level surface chair, good padding but not too hard, not too soft. I usually don't sit on wood chairs even with a cushion, but have on occasion when there was nothing else-- painful when I get up and I have to watch I don't fall when I first get out of those type chairs. I carry a donut cushion and another type cushion in my pickup everywhere I go. Some places, I take my redwood folding chair-- I can't sit on just any folding chair-- no surprise there, huh?  My old LZ Boy recliner is 15 yrs old, very comfortable. I had 4 other recliners from various stores delivered before that chair but had to send them all back. Most recliners put you back, lift your legs up so you are in a reclining position, but don't work for me-- because your body weight is on your butt, I need my body weight to be on my low back in the recliner.  Everything I buy is a challenge to find-- shoes, glasses, clothes because my whole body is odd. Then there is MCS, the hardest challenge. ----- On the Zeolite rocks: I called 2 locations of Bed Bath & Beyond where I live. They do not have the rocks. I called the eco store where I bought my 4 air cleaners, he has them. $3.95 for the small pk, and 8.95 for the large. I hope to get to the store sometime next week. He said the rocks are a good idea for the flame retardants in the LZ.    I know you've already bought your new chair, but have you ever considered getting a glider kind of rocker with a gliding ottoman, they make solid wood ones w/no apholstery, you can add a throw pillow, and I think it is much less toxic and pretty comfortable, just a thought.
